UVegan does not run display ads and has no sponsors. No company has paid to appear on this site or to influence what it says. If that ever changes, this page changes first.
How recommendations work
Products on the brands page and elsewhere are chosen editorially, on taste and reliability, the way you would ask a friend who has tried everything. The recommendation comes first. Only after a product earns its place might an affiliate link be added to it. A commission never buys a spot on the list, and it never changes the ranking.
What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link lets the site earn a small commission if you buy something after clicking it, at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links are not active on the site yet. When they are added, each one will be marked with rel="sponsored", and any page using them will carry the Amazon Associates statement. Until then, product mentions are plain recommendations with no commission attached.
The rules we follow
- Every affiliate link is marked as sponsored in the page code.
- Any page with affiliate links shows a short disclosure near the first one.
- We do not quote live prices or copy review content, in keeping with Amazon's program rules.
- Product photos are owner-supplied or omitted; we never hotlink or save images from retailer listings.
The honest summary
The site earns trust first and money second. If a commission ever pulled against telling you the truth about a product, the truth wins and the link goes. You can also support the site directly if you would rather skip the affiliate route entirely.
