The short version: we collect as little as possible, we do not sell anything about you, and we use privacy-respecting tools. Here are the details.
Analytics
When analytics are enabled, this site will use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly tool that uses no cookies, collects no personal data, and does not track you across other sites. It produces only aggregate counts of page views. If a different tool that uses cookies is ever adopted, a consent banner will be added at the same time.
The email list
If you sign up for the free meal-plan PDF, your email address is stored with our email provider (Kit, formerly ConvertKit) for the sole purpose of sending you that file and occasional updates when major new guides publish. Sign-up uses double opt-in, so you confirm your address before anything is sent. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you. We do not sell, rent, or share your address.
What we do not do
- We do not run advertising networks or ad trackers.
- We do not sell or share personal data.
- We do not build profiles of individual readers.

Some outbound links may be affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, the retailer (such as Amazon) may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy, which we do not control. See our affiliate disclosure for how those links work.
