Section 02

Ethics

The case starts with two factual questions: what do animals experience, and what do we actually do to them? These articles answer both without melodrama and without euphemism. The descriptions of standard practice come from industry and government documents, and the sentience claims link to the research.

Nothing here is written to make you feel guilty. It is written so that whatever you decide, you decide it informed.

Check the evidence yourself. The sentience research these articles lean on, including the review that led the UK to legally recognize octopuses and crabs as sentient, is in the Science library with links to every study.
